Design System Philips

Global Experience Director

As Philips is moving towards a future-proof, solution-based company this meant a change to processes and models of work that support design and development at scale. A living resource of principles, guidelines, best practices and toolkits to help Philips design and build consistent, scalable yet flexible propositions across the health continuum was created. 


Swisscard | Contact Center Redesign

Director | Customer Strategy & Design

This project enhanced the call center experience for both agents and customers. The project gathered feedback from both agents and customers through surveys, interviews & workshops to understand their needs and expectations. Based on the feedback, the end goal was to create a more efficient and satisfying experience, resulting in increased customer satisfaction and improved agent morale.

Gulf Bank | Redesign

Lead & Principle UX

This was a redesign project for Gulf Bank, a leading financial institution in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. Gulf Bank had been facing a number of challenges that affected its brand perception and customer experience, including an outdated visual identity, inconsistent communication, and a complex user interface for its digital channels.

In response, the bank engaged myself and a small  team of designers and consultants to develop a comprehensive redesign strategy that would address these issues and position Gulf Bank as a modern, innovative, and customer-centric financial brand.

Conversational AI | Ally Assist

In today's fast-paced world, sleep has become an increasingly rare and precious commodity. Poor sleep can have a significant impact on both physical and mental health, leading to decreased productivity, mood swings, and a host of other issues. To address this problem, Philips tasked my team with creating a mobile app that will help people actively engage with and improve their sleep. Our app will provide users with the tools and resources via a conversational AI to help track their sleep patterns, set goals, and make lifestyle changes that can promote better sleep hygiene. By leveraging the latest technology and cutting-edge research in sleep science, our app empowers users to take control of their sleep.


Metro Bank - Commercial Banking Redesign

In today's fast-paced digital world, businesses need efficient and reliable banking services to keep up with the demands of their operations. One of the key aspects of this is the online banking platform. Metro Bank, a UK-based financial institution, recognizes the importance of providing top-notch digital services to its commercial banking clients.The redesign aims to provide a user-friendly and efficient platform that enables commercial clients to manage their finances with ease and convenience, while also incorporating strong security measures to safeguard sensitive data.


Cloud9 IDE

Senior UX Designer

Cloud9 IDE is an online development environment for Javascript and Node.js applications as well as HTML, CSS, PHP, Java, Ruby and 23 other languages. As 1 of 2 designers in this start-up we created the worlds first online development environment. It allows developers to write, run, and debug their code together in real time with this powerful and flexible tool. Developers can collaborate on their projects publicly, or keep them private. Company exited with a sale to Amazon where it is still part of their AWS developer tool set. 


Learn Between

Head of Design

Learn Between is a mobile application designed to empower individuals by providing them with valuable knowledge and skills in easily digestible 15-minute sessions, thoughtfully scheduled and seamlessly integrated into their calendars. Time is a precious resource, and carving out dedicated learning periods can be a challenge in our hectic lives. That's why the app leverages the power of artificial intelligence to optimize learning experiences and make education more accessible, flexible, and engaging than ever before. The philosophy behind Learn Between is to break down complex subjects into bite-sized, manageable lessons that can be effortlessly absorbed during short intervals.
